Géorgie 2008

The Georgian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 was chosen through a national final on Saturday 1 March 2008. A total of 12 participants competed for the Georgian place in the semi-finals of Eurovision. The winner was Diana Gurtskaya with the song « Peace Will Come ». The song finished 11th with 83 points.

On 31 December during « Eurovision Year » program of the GPB, 12 songs were presented for selection as both video clips and live performances.

At Eurovision

Georgia qualified from the second semi-final to the final. In the final they performed in 17th position, behind Denmark and before Ukraine where they picked up 83 points.
